Screen a counterparty against sanctions lists and for PEP status — the company and its owners in one report.
Screen a counterparty against sanctions lists and for PEP status — the company and its owners in one report.
We automatically screen the company and its beneficial owners, shareholders and parent company: in the OpenSanctions sanctions collection (including the Polish MSWiA list), on the consolidated EU sanctions list, on the OFAC SDN list and on the KNF public warning list. Every match names the list it came from. A PDF ready for your due diligence file.
Which lists we search
The company and each of its owners are screened separately. A sanctions match lifts the overall score to at least 85 — critical risk.
Example: BOERNER SYNTHETICS MEMBRANES
In the sample report the company has a direct sanctions match in OpenSanctions, and its two beneficial owners and two corporate shareholders are on the Polish MSWiA list. Sanctions domain 100/100, ownership domain 100/100, overall score 85/100 — critical risk. The report recommends stopping the relationship and notifying GIIF without delay, within 2 business days at the latest.

What the report contains
- a result for each list: a match or no match,
- a separate screen of every beneficial owner, shareholder and parent company,
- the names of the lists where a match was found,
- a 0–100 score and recommended next steps,
- the date and time the report was generated.
A match means an OpenSanctions match score of at least 0.7, or a name agreement of at least 80% with the EU or OFAC list. Scoring rules — in the methodology.
