How credit agencies work
Traditional business credit agencies work on a subscription model: an annual contract, a report quota, modules sold separately. Coface, according to information published by its partners, offers packs of commercial reports on Polish and foreign companies; an advanced report on a Polish company usually takes 2–6 working days, or is instant if the database holds a report no older than 12 months. The report contains a payment assessment, a recommended maximum trade credit, registry and financial data, personal links and negative information from debt collection. On our comparison page we quote a Coface subscription from about PLN 1,500 a month with an annual contract, delivery usually within 48 hours, a separate AML module and sanctions screening as a separate module, an API in the enterprise tier. Dun & Bradstreet works similarly: a subscription with individual pricing, dozens of markets globally, a separate Compliance module, an enterprise API. Both require an account and a contract, both issue VAT invoices.
Verifykator is an automated report. By NIP it checks a Polish company in 18 sources — state registers, EU, US and MSWiA sanctions lists, KNF warnings, CRBR, e-Sprawozdania, MSiG and KRZ, UOKiK, BDO, press, domain age — and issues a 0–100 score in five domains under fixed rules, with points and a source for every finding. The PDF with its identifier arrives usually within a minute, at most three. There is no analyst, no credit limit and no foreign companies. There is a public price, no contract and ready evidence of due diligence.

When an agency, when Verifykator.
An agency answers how much credit to give; Verifykator — whether to start at all.
They work together
A company with an agency subscription rarely orders a full report on every small counterparty — the quota and the waiting time mean the analyst is reserved for bigger decisions. Verifykator fills that gap: every new NIP is checked at once, for PLN 39.36, with a PDF carrying the score and sanctions screening for the file. When the matter concerns a credit limit, receivables insurance or a company outside Poland, you order the agency report. The financial condition of a Polish company — revenue, result, equity, filing punctuality — is visible with us; we describe it on the financial condition page.
What you will not find in Verifykator
We have no analysts, issue no rating or trade credit limit, and check no foreign companies or natural persons. We use no BIK or credit bureau data. An API and monitoring with alerts are planned. For more than 50 reports a month, write to us. The report is evidence of due diligence, not a credit decision and not legal advice.
