Sanctions lists — screen a company and the people behind it.
Sanctions lists — screen a company and the people behind it.
Since 2022 every business in Poland must screen counterparties against sanctions lists — not only banks. Enter a NIP: we screen the company, its beneficial owners and shareholders against the MSWiA list, the EU, OFAC and UN lists, and show obliged entities the PEP status too.
- Sanctions: MSWiA, EU, OFAC
- KNF warnings
- Beneficial owners (CRBR)
- Financials and filings
- Bankruptcy, liquidation, KRZ
- VAT status and accounts
- Press coverage
- 0–100 risk score and PDF

Which sanctions lists apply in Poland.
Each one: what it is, who keeps it, where to check it free.
The company is rarely listed — its owner sometimes is
Sanctions also cover entities controlled by listed persons (the 50% rule). A company with a Polish NIP can have a clean KRS entry while its beneficial owner is on the EU list. To find that, you must establish the owners from the CRBR, the shareholders from KRS and the parent company, and screen each person separately. That is what the report does. Persons whose KRS data is masked cannot be screened automatically — the report says so.
Who is a politically exposed person
A PEP holds a prominent public function (members of parliament, ministers, senior judges, ambassadors, boards of state-owned companies), with family members and close associates (RCA). PEP status does not forbid business — it requires enhanced measures from obliged entities: senior management approval, source of wealth, enhanced monitoring. We show the PEP and RCA status of owners, shareholders and representatives to buyers who declared that the report serves a due-diligence / AML procedure.
How to document that you checked
A check alone is not enough — you must be able to show when, whom and against which list version. The report holds the list of screened persons, the version date of each list, the result for each person, an identifier and a timestamp. A PDF for the counterparty file. Sanctions screening is in the full report.
The free check does not cover sanctions lists. Screening of the company and its owners is in the complete AMLA dossier.
