Comparison · as of October 2026

KRD or Verifykator — a debtor register or a risk report.

The National Debt Register (KRD) is a credit information bureau: it shows whom a company has not paid and monitors counterparties by subscription. Verifykator shows who a company is — owners, sanctions, proceedings, financials — and scores the risk before a contract. Not competitors, but two different questions.

Sample report

The Verifykator report shows:
  • Sanctions: MSWiA, EU, OFAC
  • KNF warnings
  • Beneficial owners (CRBR)
  • Financials and filings
  • Bankruptcy, liquidation, KRZ
  • VAT status and accounts
  • Press coverage
  • 0–100 risk score and PDF

What each tool shows

Krajowy Rejestr Długów BIG S.A. keeps a debtor register fed by creditors. According to KRD's product description, a counterparty check is run in the Client Panel by NIP and the report appears within seconds: creditor details, total liabilities, due dates, dates of demand letters, any disputes raised by the debtor and positive payment history. A company enters the register when an obligation exceeds PLN 500, is at least 60 days overdue and the creditor has sent a demand letter with the KRD clause. KRD also offers 24/7 counterparty monitoring with e-mail and SMS alerts, a combined report from other bureaus, reports on foreign companies and a database of financial statements. The sample report published on krd.pl also contains data from the Register of Public-Law Receivables (RNP — arrears owed to public authorities), KRZ entries, financial data, ratios and a recommended trade credit limit. The business offer is subscription-based and priced individually; a Client Panel account requires identity verification.

Verifykator is not a debtor register. It is a report on one company by NIP, built from 18 sources: KRS, CEIDG, REGON, VIES, the white list, CRBR, sanctions lists (OpenSanctions with the MSWiA list, the EU list, OFAC SDN), KNF warnings, e-Sprawozdania, MSiG and KRZ, UOKiK, BDO, press, domain age. The output is a 0–100 score in five domains, a proposed level of due-diligence measures and a PDF with an identifier — no account, no subscription, PLN 39.36 incl. VAT.

Which one when

When KRD, when Verifykator.

Does it pay — and who is it. Two questions, two tools.

1
Choose KRD when
You grant trade credit and want the payment history
You have a standing portfolio of counterparties and need monitoring with alerts
You are checking arrears to public authorities from RNP
2
Choose Verifykator when
A new counterparty: who stands behind it and whether it is on a sanctions list
AML Act duties — beneficial owner, PEP, risk assessment
A single check with no subscription, a PDF for the file in 3 minutes
3
Together
Verifykator before signing the contract
KRD before shipping goods on deferred terms
Both documents in the same client file

They work together

A simple split: Verifykator answers "who is this company", KRD answers "does it pay". Before signing you order a Verifykator report: existence and status, VAT status and white-list accounts, CRBR owners next to KRS shareholders, sanctions screening of every person, MSiG and KRZ notices, statements, press. If the relationship involves deferred payment, you add a KRD report: creditor entries, RNP, payment history and, for ongoing business, monitoring. A clean KRD result does not rule out a sanctioned person behind the company; a clean Verifykator report does not say whether the company pays invoices on time. VAT status and accounts are free to check with us — see the VAT white list.

What you will not find in Verifykator

We have no access to the KRD register or other credit information bureaus, and we do not show arrears to public authorities from RNP. Monitoring with alerts is planned — today a report is a one-off check with a date. We do not check natural persons or foreign companies. The report is evidence of due diligence, not a credit decision and not legal advice.

The competitor's terms come from its public pages and were checked in October 2026. Competitors' terms may change — check the current offer with the provider.

FAQ

Questions about KRD and Verifykator.

No. The KRD register is available to the bureau's clients under a contract. Our insolvency information comes from MSiG notices and the National Register of Debtors (KRZ): bankruptcy, restructuring, ineffective enforcement.

Check who the counterparty is before you check whether it pays.

Owners, sanctions, KRZ and financials — one NIP, a PDF usually within a minute.
